A BOX.
I have been placing God into a box, doubting what he could and could not do. I have been placing my own selfish expectations as the guideline rather than realizing it is GOD’S to guide. This is HIS mission field, HIS children, HIS ministry, HIS bible study. Who am I to limit HIM and place him into this small confined four by four box, to sufficate HIM out of the situation?

Praise YOU God for opening my eyes, and having me realize YOU are more POWERFUL and MAGNIFICENT than I can ever imagine. YOU are the one in CONTROL, not me, not any one else. It is all in your hands, and even though I doubted you and placed you into a BOX YOU had greater things planned for us tonight.
Thank you Lord Jesus, for choosing to use me even when I fail to TRUST you, even when I cannot see the goodness in what you already have done, and what you are doing now. Thank you Jesus for your FAITHFULNESS and your GRACE you shower down upon me, and for allowing me to be blessed as I serve YOU! Tonight did not go as I expected, but that is because I expected so much less, I limited you, I confined your power!
But praise YOU Jesus that you did not remain in that box but instead blew me away by providing amazing conversations, by placing random people for us to meet in the dorms tonight, by starting to create a family and a community based around your LOVE. Thank you for being YOU and for being a God who hears our cries, prayers, and LOVES us even when we are doubtful! Thank YOU Jesus for being a God who is LIMITLESS!!! Amen.

During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me! “Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” (Matthew 14:25-33)
I myself was Peter, doubting God, limiting Him based on my OWN expectations. God invited me into His mission just like he invited Peter to walk on water. However, Peter and I both lacked trust and as soon as things were not going my way or meeting my OWN expectations (and as soon as the wind picked up for Peter) we started to sink. BUT tonight, GOD IMMEDIATELY reached out HIS hand and caught me before I sank, just like he reached out and caught Peter.

THANK YOU JESUS FOR USING ME EVEN IN THE MIDST OF MY DOUBT.
